Learn studio communication ettiquette and master the art of organizing the creative process. Are you ready to keep everyone motivated?
Where you'll learn all about story, story telling, story problem solving, editing, and direction techniques to bring out the best in your work.
Storyboarding relies most on fast gesture drawings. You'll learn how to put images down on paper, and test sequences in this pathway!
Enroll in either Backgrounds or Character & Props Pathways
Calling all concept, background, character, & prop designers! Learn the technical formatting tricks that keep all the departments on-model!
No matter what sector you choose, designing will bring you into the deep end of the details.
You'll learn all the secrets to problem-solving in this department pathway. Rigging 2D & building cut-out assets is a very technical department!
You won't just learn how to build the tools, you'll also learn to fix them when they break. Believe us when we say, things are going to break!
The puppetry involved in cut-out animation is a lot of fun, when you understand the steps of working the hierarchy of pegs.
Our Animation pathway is where you'll learn to dance between key frames and bring your scenes to life.
Check out the last remaining department where traditional animation still thrives in its truest form!
If you still believe in magic, the FX department creates the sparkle every scene requires to push the limits of believability.
Compositing is where you'll learn to captivate the audiences' attention by leading the eye, and learning the language of the bigger picture.
Where you'll solve scene technical issues, adjust colour theories, and play with camera tricks. This department is all about the final and finest tuning.

This program is for you if…
✅ You're a graduate from an animation program at the college or university level.
✅ You've spent years learning the foundations of animation art and mastering the principles—and you're ready to work in the industry or commit to your own project.
✅ You need help creating or putting together a competitive demo reel or portfolio.
✅ You're the kind of person who likes to know all and the exact steps.
✅ You (or you + your friends) want to start your own studio and create your own animation projects & series.
📅 All Classes follow a flexible weekly work schedule & format
📅 Approximately 30-35 hour work weeks
⏰ Between the hours of 8:00 - 6:00 PM PST
🥦 Participation is required.
🥦 All departments have a designated supervisor.
🥦 This program revolves around hands-on help and feedback. You’ll get daily interaction and dedicated weekly 1 on 1 time with your supervisor.
🥦 Most of our beginner instructions will be pre-recorded so you can go back and watch as many times as you require, other important meetings will be scheduled, and live to feel more like a studio.
🥦 We’re committed to getting to know you! We do our best to maintain a 10:1 ratio. That's 10 students to every teacher, in all department pathways.

Peak Performance comes with a 1 year license to the designated pathway department
Adobe & Toon Boom Animation are both industry standard software programs the pro's already know how to maximize. We'll show you the most efficient ways to use them together. We recommend using them if you plan to look for animation employment.

Adobe Photoshop is provided for all design training, as it is a tool that works well with Harmony Premium.
🧃 Storyboarding Software
Storyboard Pro is the leading software for planning animated and live action projects. Storyboard Pro is provided for our storyboarding department pathway as it is a major component in animation scene set up.
🧃 Animation Production Software
Harmony Premium is provided for all cut-out animation production and post-production classes.
Those are the Rigging, Animation, FX, & Compositing department pathways.
